5% of what number is 5?

Parth (parthkohli):

Let's say that \(5\%\) of \(x\) is 5. \( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow 0.05x = 5}\) as \(5\% = 0.05\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actualy it is. . . x*5/100=5

Parth (parthkohli):

\(5\% \text{ of x}\) is logically the same as \(0.05 \times x\).
