Please help me with this math question Part 1. On your own paper, create a tessellation using this polygon. Your tessellation should include a point where 4 such polygons meet. You will NOT turn this part in to your instructor. Part 2. Which transformations did you use? Explain why it is possible to tessellate this figure.

@Calcmathlete can you help with this problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Part 1: It should be |dw:1343071098369:dw|Something of that sort... It can be tesselated because the angles can make up 360.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the it would be a glide reflection

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but its asking about which formation do you see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@experimentX What do you think?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

not sure ... i haven't done this type of question. looking at wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tessellation i can only think of |dw:1343071652594:dw|
