In 1990 the mean height of woman 20yrs or older was 63.7 inch based on data obtained from CDC and Prevention;s Advance data report, No 347. Suppose that a random sample of 45 woman who are 20yrs of age or older today results in a mean height of 63.9 a)State teh appropriate null and alternative hypotheses to assess whether women are taller today. b)Suppose the p-value for this test is 0.35. explain what this value represents c)write a conclusion for this hypthesis test assuming an a=0.10 level of significance
1990 --- > 20 & 20+ , mean ht = 63.7 in 2012 ----> 45 women, 20 & 20+ mean ht 63.9 in... i am not sure boss...
but i think the report in 1990 contains how many women ... so we cannot compare whether the ht over a time is increased or not..
