When the variable is in the exponent, it represents exponential. When the variable is normal and has a power of 1, then it's linear. Which one do you think?

so then y can equal x
please explain which on superceeds
Ok. I meant as in the one that is not isolated. Since x is an exponent, it is an exponential function. If it's \(y = 4.4^x\), then it's exponential. If it's \(y = 4.4x\), then it's linear.
ok thanks
np :)
