yes dirctly and indirctly it has affects on our programing , we strt thnking in broader way , understandng of comp arch helps us in choosing algorithms for our programs , similarly in system prgramng understnding of comp is a pre req acording to my point of view

I think Computer Architecture helps from two sides:
First it's about hardware : people study Computer Architecture to understand how the Computer is building and how can they improve this architecture to make the Computer more powerful.
Second it's about software (if we can called it like that!) : people study this side to understand the basics of how the Computer works, I mean by that the assembler, so the assembler helps you to understand a little bit about programming, but from my point of view, it will not be very helpful, why ? Because no people don't use assembler to make programs, people use high level languages which turn the things more easier.

But still Computer Architecture is important, that was my point of view.
