1G-3 in the first Problem set is giving me trouble. Looking at the solution, in solving for y' they go from x^2 a^2 + y^2 b^2 = 1 to x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 = 1and I'm not understanding how they arrived at this. Could someone elaborate? Thanks!

I don't understand it either. I'm hoping it's a mistake and in the solution where they solved for \[y=a^{2}/x ^{2}... \] instead of \[y=a ^{2}x ^{2}\] as in the question.

Yes I'm assuming it a mistake as well. Oh well.
