RT = 4, TS = 14 VS = x , QV = 8 Using the formula above my comment 4/ 14 = 8/x So cross multiplying x = (14 * 8)/4 x = 28 but VS = VT + TS so 28 = VT + 14 VT = 28 - 14 = 14
