find the slope intercept x intercept =3 y intercept is 1/3 , the slope intercept form for the line is , type an equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You will have the co-ordinates (3, 0), your x-intercept and (0, 1/3) and you need to find the slope from those co-ordinates \[(0-(1/3))/ (3-0)\] That will be equal to -(1/9) and you use the slope and one of the co-ordinates to find the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(y-0) = (-(1/9)(x - 3))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = (-1/9)x + (1/3)
