if ΔTRM ~ ΔKBV and the ratio of RM to BV is 4:1, what do you know about the relationship between RT and BK ? Explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I didnt know how to put the little lines above the letters ,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@dta255 help if u can plz .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u kno their lengths wud be in 4:1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain . ? i dont understand

OpenStudy (nottim):

draw it out maybe.

OpenStudy (nottim):

cause then triangles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know that triangle TRM is 4 times larger than triangle KBV because the scale factor is 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wen two triangles r say any polygon r similar their side lengths wud be in a fixed ratio nd angles wud be equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup that an easier way of saying it @J.L. i meant corresponding one's btw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the awsner to this questiion would be ; the relationship with RK and BK is there side lengths will be 4:1 also because when 2 triangles are similar the side lengths are equal also?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It would be 4:1 since the triangles are similar and it means that their corresponding lengths would have the same proportion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

RT **

thanks !
