Yes or no, and why? Do you think Locke's philosophy "...that the contract between ruler and ruled could not limit the individual's natural entitlement to enjoy life, political equality, and the ownership of property." is true? On a word document, explain whether you believe Locke was right or wrong. Give examples to defend your opinion. This document should be no shorter than one page PLEASE HELP!!
You should really try not to have people write your essays for you. I can tell you one thing if it wasnt for mr.Locke you wouldnt have a free nice life and America wouldnt exsist. Just write about how he planted the ideals of universal freedoms. Read up on him it will give you some insight on your world around you ;)
http://www.iep.utm.edu/locke/ That should help you. Trust me its not that bad. You will learn things from it that will really make you think differently and make you smarter. He was a smart man.
P.S I didnt mean to insult you in any way ;) I just was trying to help. If You need any other sources or info ask. :D " All mankind... being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty or possessions." -John Locke
I personally think that Locke manipulated his use of the concept of acquiring property through tilling and domesticating land as an excuse to justify taking land from the native Americans. But that's perhaps a side note. Maybe this is a nice discussion of Locke's philosophy that can help you: http://www.justiceharvard.org/2011/02/episode-04/#watch
