1.) The bearing from point A to point B is
N 42degrees E. The bearing from point B to point C is S 48degrees E. A car traveling at 65 mph takes 1.1 hr to go from A to B and 1.8 hr to go from B to C. Find the distance from point A to point C.

2.) A 30-foot flagstaff is fixed in the center of a circular tower 40 feet in diameter. From a point in the same horizontal plane as the foot of the tower are found to be 36degrees and 30degrees respectively. Find the height of the tower.
