Choose a reasonable estimate for: the amount of water a pot can hold ? A. 5000 mg B. 5000 Kg C. 5000 ml D. 5000 L
1000 ml = 1 L and you may consider 1 kg \[\approx \] 1 litre , even though kg is bigger.
but usually we consider liquids in liter as it is the preferred unit for them. A liter is measured by special calibrated container and has not much to do with mass of the object. while Kg defines solid objects which could be weighed eg. on a weighing balance . I hope you know how much a liter would be . so you can chose the option which you think is possible to keep in a container whihc could be placed on a table at your home. do post the answer.
i not sure. some water pot is big some is small
so, i confused that which option is right.
how is about an Indian Pot
use trial and error in this case. for option D 5000 L - it is not possible to hold that much water in a container . Only a water tank could that much. for option C 5000 ml - it translates to 5 L as 1000 ml = 1 L . A pot can hold this small amount. It is like 5 milk bottles each of 1 L poured in a Jug. for option B 5000 Kg - for water 1kg is approxiamtely 1 L , but for other liquids it differs as Kg or mass of various liquids is different. But still it is like 5000 L and thus a NO. for option A 5000 mg - It is approx 5000 ml ie 5 L so this is possible too. Now you have two options - A and C. Chose the one in which you represent liquids easily.
i would personally chose C
Thank you
