hardest exercise in the world bet u wont solve it lol...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................What is the lateral area of a rectangular prism if the base edges are 3 centimeters and 4 centimeters and the height is 6 centimeters? 92 cm2 150 cm2 220 cm2 84 cm2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

la=2h(w+l)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

84 cm^2... the formula is 2h(l +b).... because the lateral surfaces are made up of four rectangles. Two of each are made up of (length and height ) and (base and height)... So, total area = 2 l h + 2 b h = 2h(l+b)... Now, put l= 3, b=4 and h=6 .. and get the answer.

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i put l= 3, b=4 and h=6 but how do i solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply diivide?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is ast qustion to finish the exam

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have 4 lateral faces two of them are 3cm by 6 cm = 18 cm^2 for a partial area of 36 cm^2 the other two faces are 4cm by 6cm = 24 cm^2 for a partial area of 48 cm^2 adding the partial areas you have 48 cm^2 + 36 cm^2 = 84 cm^2

thanks at last
