what is diameter of a circle whose area is a

OpenStudy (dls):

a=pi *r*r a=pi*2r a=pi*d d=a/pi d=a/22/7 d=22a/7

OpenStudy (phi):

DLS started off ok with \[ a= \pi r^2 \] I would divide both sides by pi then take the square root of both sides to get r then double r to find d Can you do that?
