Solve for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\ \frac{ 2x}{x ^{2} -4} \ -\ \frac{2x }{x ^{2} +x-2} \ +\ \frac{x }{x ^{2} -3x+2} =0\]

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

first find the lowest common multiple of 3 denominators factoring: x^2-4 = (x-2)(x+2) x^2 + x - 2 = (x + 2( x - 1) x^2 - 3x + 2 = (x-2)(x-1)

Do you have to find the LCD?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

yes

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

what do you think the lcd is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it x^2, 3x, and 4?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no its made from factors i mentioned above

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

its (x-1)(x+2(x-2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The lcd is x^2-4?
