im expanding (7x-2y)^3 using pascal's triangle...i need to have it checked for accuracy ASAP :) (7x-2y)(7x-2y)(7x-2y) 1+3+3+1 (7x)^3+3(7x)^2+3(7x)+1 343x^3-294x^2y+84xy^2-8y^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@experimentX wanna giv it a try? :)

OpenStudy (turingtest):

looks right to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how exactly would i check it if i wanted to by myself?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

oh but your last y though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its y^3 i know :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

343x^3-294x^2y+84xy^2-8y^3 yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aright cool thanks @TuringTest :)

OpenStudy (turingtest):

really I would have written it like this: 1 3 3 1 (7x)^3+3(7x)^2(-2y)+3(7x)(-2y)^2+1(-2y)^3 then you can see that your answer is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm okay :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nice i probably shud hav...thanks again! :D

OpenStudy (turingtest):

welcome :)
