Can someone help show me what I'm doing wrong please?
Use the table for sine values, and find x to the nearest tenth.

You're missing the table, so I'm assuming you can use a calculator?

sin(angle) = opposite/hypotenuse

sin(15) = 12/x

x*sin(15) = 12

x = 12/sin(15)

x = 12/0.2588

x = 46.36785

So you need to divide (and not multiply) to get the answer
