A function assigns one and only one y-value for an x value. Is that what you're seeing here? In other words...is there any "overlap?"
what does a overlap mean
are any of these the same?
there is only one x value for one y value given that each set is. (x,y)
so given this information it is easy to see that A is a function because there is only one y value for each x value.
