question 19 only

OpenStudy (anonymous):

convert 60 degrees to radians.... what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

once you have that, since the circumference of that unit circle is 2pi, your answer will be whatever 2pi - (60 degrees in radians) is....

OpenStudy (nali):

it becomes pi/3 so it becomes 5/3 pi but that is what i got at first and it is wrong the right answer is 5/3 pi +2

OpenStudy (nali):

@dpaInc here is the explanintion of my book that i do not get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh... i see the perimeter of the "shaded region" includes the straight sides that make up the the perimeter... since the radius of the circle is 1 you need to add 2 to 5pi/3...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 5pi/3 is just the perimeter of the "circular" part... you also need to add the straight sides...

OpenStudy (nali):

oh ok thanku

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw...:)
