Does anyone know about the brick and mortar-algorithm, a concept-algorithm for cheap robots, that are searching for hazards, enemies and victims in disaster areas? I'm searching for pseudocode, papers or, especially, a lecture about the brick and mortar algorithm by one of it's authors, Niki Trigoni.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try these. Even I am going to read these paper. Second link is to a video explaining the algorithm http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/niki.trigoni/papers/ICRA2007.pdf http://archive.zepler.tv/39/

OpenStudy (nethwa):

@jagan Thanks for the reply, but i already had the paper from the first link (but i got it from the IEEE-database). And sadly the second gives just an error, that the file is missing. But thanks anyway^^

if you find more research paper, do share here. I am also interested in reading about this algorithm.

OpenStudy (nethwa):

@jagan I hadn't found any further information about that - but a workmate of mine just finished a paper about a bunch of algorithms, this one included. When its published i will post the link.

@NethWa : thanks for replying. Eagerly waiting :)
