Remember PEMDAS -- Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition Subtraction. In that order. So, 3³ ÷ 9 ∙ 2 – 12 + 6 (9 / 9) * 2 - 12 + 6 [Since you're multiplying 9*2, you can place a parentheses there to make that division portion a bit easier) 1 * 2 - 12 + 6 2 - 12 + 6 -10 + 6 = -4
