If you removed the tertiary consumers from a food web, what would be the response of the primary consumers?

Tracie....if you see thpicture inattached you will notice who are the primary consumers and the tertiary consumers and consenquently will get a conclusion that if there's no predator for the first consumers...they will increase and as they increase, they will eat more...so...the basic source of food will be in lack...
