OpenStudy (tiffanymak1996):

lim(x->0+) (lnx)/(cotx)

OpenStudy (tiffanymak1996):

please help

Parth (parthkohli):

Which one do you find convenient? • Graphing. • Substituting answers(not recommended)

OpenStudy (tiffanymak1996):

the second one.

OpenStudy (tiffanymak1996):

could i just use l'hospital's rule all thru?

Parth (parthkohli):

I do not recommend it, Tiffany. You have to get used to graphing. As you are on an early stage, I'd not like to confuzzle you as to why you don't have to use the second.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

yes you can! since it's 0/0

Parth (parthkohli):

http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=ln+x%2Fcot+x See the graph, and try to check what \(f(x)\) approaches when \(x\) approaches 0, from the RIGHT SIDE.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i dont think someone who knows l'hospital is on an early stage...

Parth (parthkohli):

I still recommend graphing as the best way, lgba. And the lag wasn't posting it, so I didn't know if she knew L'Hopital or not.
