Which equation is a quadratic equation? y + 3 = 5x + 10 y + 4x2 = (4x − 2)(x + 3) y − 8x = (x2 + 1)(9x − 7) y = 2x + 7x(x + 1)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

simplify the equations...the one that has an x^2 as the highest degree is a quadratic equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation that will be having the highest power 2 will be quadratic..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is y-8x=(x^2+1)(9x-7) the right answer?

OpenStudy (zepp):

Nope, it has a x^2 already, if you foil the thing, you'll get a x^3, which is a cubic function
