Nineteen percent said chocolate was their favorite flavor. There are 10 customers waiting for ice cream at the Highway 544 Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and frozen yogurt store. (a) How many would you expect to purchase vanilla ice cream? (b) What is the probability exactly three will select vanilla ice cream? (c) What is the probability exactly three will select chocolate ice cream?

let the survey was conducted over "100 " number of peoples.. 33 % of 100 like vanilla = 33 19 % of 100 like chocolate = 19 There r 10 people waiting.. 1. How many expected for vanilla From the above survey we can say.. 33% 0f people.. so 33% of 10 = 3.3, you can say 3/4.. :D 2. What is the probability exactly three will select vanilla ice cream? is it 3/10 ?? 3. What is the probability exactly three will select chocolate ice cream? Once 3 ppl go for Vanila, remaining are 7.. so its proability = 3/7.. assuming the event 2& 3 are related I am not very sure, just a try...
