A kilometre is approximately 5/8 of a mile. Jean is travelling at an average speed of 36 miles per hour as she drives through a french village with a speed limit of 50 kilometres per hour. Is she exceeding the speed limit? Show your working clearly.

36*8/5 (because km is 5/8th of mile then mile is 8/5th of km) yup she is exceeding. . .
