Which equation is a quadratic equation? 5x − 2 = y y + 15x2 = (3x − 2)(5x + 7) y = 3x(5 − x) + 7 y + 2 = (3x2 + 10)(x − 1)

When you FOIL the equations with parenthesis out, which one is the only one with a ^2 term left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's the one. One other equation is cubic, one is linear, and the remaining equation, the two quadratic terms cancel out.
