Simply find media in your everyday life and see how it trys to appeal to you; is that commercial trying to lull in your emotional support using a cute cat? Does that ad list the 'pros' of its product? Does Justin Beiber really support (such and such) product? 
etc.

If you can video, try the ASPCA commercial (emotion/character).   A print ad of  household product that will make life simpler (logic).
