Jason considered two similar televisions at a local electronics store. The generic version was based off the brand name and was the size of the brand name. If the generic television set is 12 inches by 24 inches, what are the dimensions of the brand name television? 7.5 inches by 15 inches 28 inches by 56 inches 32 inches by 64 inches 4.5 inches by 9 inches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A way to solve this can be by cross multiplying and checking with the different options

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are they suppose to equal 24 and 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A simpler way for this question is realizing 12/24 equals 1/2, now you just have to find out which answer equals 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you get the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you put all of these options into the calculator they all come out to 0.5 so doesnt that mean that they all equal 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The question doesnt give a a clue about how big the brand name tv was, are you sure thats the right question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i am sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
