Okay, I am in 11th grade and need help on a math question. I am currently doing online school and I am in the middle of a quiz but got stumped on a particular question.. I am learning about Quadratic Equations, and Discriminants.. I understand how to do them for example, I understand equations like 7x^2 + 2x - 4 or x^2 - x + 9.. that's all easy.. but when it starts getting to x^2 - 7x or x^2 - 11x = 0... I don't understand them.. do those equations have c? Please help ** ^= exponent
yes, in those last two cases, c = 0
since \[\Large x^2 - 7x\] is the same as \[\Large x^2 - 7x+0\]
and because \[\Large x^2 - 11x = 0\] is the same as \[\Large x^2 - 11x +0 = 0\]
Wow, you are amazing Jim.. Thank you sooo much, I can't believe I didn't get that. You are awesome.. I would of asked my online teachers this question but they are soo unreliable. Thank you again, Jim. God Bless.
you're welcome
:)
I'm glad I could help you out
