Anyways for part 1, you can use a forest.
There are 9 trees, but only 2 are green out of 9.
The planters of the forest mixed the green trees with orange trees (x)
They also planted purple trees (y)
The number of these trees come out to nine.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
how does that relate to the other equation
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I'm not done :P
OpenStudy (anonymous):
The same number of purple trees and orange trees also affect the number of trees in another forest. There are 26 trees in this forest. The planters decided to move the orange and purple trees to this forest to make it more colorful.
