A cube of metal has a mass of 0.312 kg and measures 3.41 cm on a side. Calculate the density and identify the metal.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

\[Density=\frac{mass}{volume}=\frac{0.312}{3.41^3}=?\]Once you have that, I'm sure you have a table of metals you can compare it to.

OpenStudy (shane_b):

Note that that answer will be kg/cm^3 so you may have to convert it to whatever your table has.
