OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it C b/c 25/2=5*2 =10 and 23/2=6*2=12?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

centered at (2,3) means the equation will have (x-2)^2 and (y-3)^2 it says major axis is vertical so the "a^2" value goes under the "y-term" length of major axis is 12 --> 2a = 12 --> a = 6 --> a^2 = 36 minor axis is 10 --> 2b = 10 --> b = 5 --> b^2 = 25 thus (y-3)^2 / 36 + (x-2)^2 / 25 = 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so C?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

i never looked at the choices...you are better off trying to answer the question first without looking at answer choices if you do it right...it will be there :)

sweet ur right thanks!:)
