Eliminate the “z” variable in the last two equations by finding opposite coefficients and adding. What is the resulting equation? x + 3y + 2z = –16 2x – y + 2z = –15 2x – 2y – z = 1

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

if u notice. the coefficient of z in the 2nd eq is 2 but in the 3rd eq is -1 so in order for them to be opposite by how much do u have to multipply the 3rd equation?

thnx:)
