What would be a possible research question based on the novel Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close that would be enough to write a 4,000 word essay on?
Have you seen the movie?
No, Our essays have to be based purely on the novel.
Hmmm, well, I haven't seen the movie but there has to be some deep threads from the book in the movie--do you have the book and are you able to read it before your deadline? A question that seems obvious to me would be "how would you be able to relate to an entire history of time that you were a part of it in such detail?" Meaning, if I am to understand what, at least the movie was about and something you could probably quickly research and see if it pertains, insofar as to having actually experienced history as it happened and with YOUR loved ones and family or extended relationships as part of the actual moment of history as it is happening. This is actually worth pursuing, because it is thought provoking and there are many facets to that thought and question which would give you many avenues through which to ponder and grow your paper.
