the area of each triangle = 1/2 *3 * 4 = 6 so 6 triagnle = 36 sq cms the area of the haxagon = 1/2 * a * p a = apothem = 2sqrt3 and p = perimeter = 6* 4 i'll have to check on this last formula - my memory might be failing me here
