What polynomial has roots of -1, -2, and 3 ? A) x3 + 6x2 + 11x + 6 B) x3 - x2 - 5x + 2 C) x3 + 2x2 - 7x + 2 D) x3 - 7x - 6

Parth (parthkohli):

Looks like we have a cubic, so it'd look like \((x + 1)(x + 2)(x + 3)\).

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

it is correct but u should put (x-3) not (x+3) just a typo

Parth (parthkohli):

I am sorry.

Parth (parthkohli):

By the way, if \(k\) is a root, then \(x - k\) is a factor. ~Factor Theorem.
