i suppose the question to ask is if a preident is chosen first does tha have any influence on choosing the next official say the vice president?

i guess, it is dependent as 

once the president is selected, he cannot be nominated for any other post.. So the vice president has to be from remaining set of peoples... that increases the probability..

SO Dependent.. if u ask me..
