What is the center and radius of this circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok... you said from a graph... where's the graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was working on that part, lol ;b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

visually, i would just look at the widest part of the circle both horizontally and vertically and draw imaginary segments... the center is where those two segments cross....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think i got it D: but im not sureeeee: is it (-5,3)= center & radius= 7 ? 0.0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if my eyes aren't decieving me, that's what i got too....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but here's the real question.. what's the equation of that circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(x+5)^2 + (y-3)^2= 49 .. ? 0.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow.... u got it!...:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yay (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good job there...:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now put that equation in GENERAL form....
