A triangle can be classified by its angles and by its sides. Part 1: Use these two ways of classification to describe an acute isosceles triangle. Part 2: Name a triangle with only a different angle classification as an acute isosceles. Identify one similarity and one difference between this new triangle and the acute isosceles triangle.

OpenStudy (nali):

An acute triangle is one whose angles are all less than 90 degrees. An Isosceles triangle is a triangle with two sides the same length.

OpenStudy (nali):

combining those two here is an example a triangle with angles equal to 75°, 75°, and 30°. The triangle is an isosceles and all three angles are acute.
