Mathematics 22 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the zeros of the function g(x) = 2x2 - 5x + 2 by factoring.

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

you have to write \[ \large 2x^2-5x+2=(2x-\quad)(2x-\quad) \]

OpenStudy (helder_edwin):

now find two number that multiplied give u 4 and added give 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I write: (2x ) ((x ) to give the 2x^2 then I write ( 2) ( 1) to give the 2 realizing they could both be - then I notice that (2x - 1)(x - 2) gives me the -5x that I need. It's that "notice" part that is hard.
