Find the 8th term of the arithmetic sequence: -3.2, -3.4, -3.6, -3.8, ...

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

first step: find the common difference to do that...subtract the first term from the second term \[\implies -3.4 - (-3.2) \implies -3.4 + 3.2 \implies 0.2\] therefore common difference is 0.2 now use the formula \[a_n = a_1 + (n-1)d\] since you're looking for 8th term there would be 8 terms make sense? \[a_8 = -3.2 + (8-1)(0.2)\] can you solve it further now?
