I am trying to develop oximeter. What astounds me most is that the simulation program fails if I am to create the sensor circuit. Any hints with simulation techniques

depends on the sim program u are using. Since it is a sensor there are quite a lot of parameters you need to take into account. What's the failure you're getting?

Parameters include timing, brightness, noise, dc equivalent, and finaly the signal bandwidth
