Please explain to me how to multiply and simplify:

x^2-4/x^2-1 times x+1/x+2

x^2-4= (x+2)(x-2)
x^2-1=(x+1)(x-1)
there fore
(x+2)(x-2) x+1
----------- * -------
(x+1)(x-1) x+2

x-2
------
x-1
