Graph y=1/2x + 5 Thanks! Explanation too would be great.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now go ahead @zzr0ck3r

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

ok same as the last one, we know the y intercept is 5 so start at (0,5) and then go up1 and over 2(slope) and start at (0,5), and go down 1 and to the left 2 (1/2=-1/-2).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused because of the 1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nice, you shut me up. but i seen alot of ppl just giv the answers thats y i did. some high school online

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

yep, and I tell them the same thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

an explanation is always the best way to go. i like to know how to get the answer and how they did it. i appreciate your help anyways but its the better way to go.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for you probbly in normal school right?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I'm thinking the main problem is people come here and take online test. I dont think having an answer is bad. I find answers all the time in my math classes and then work backwards. I think many people that come here are just interested in a good grade. so....

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

not trying to be a jerk:) sorry pavly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well im in online school and sometimes is just multiple questions and we just wanna do it as soon as possible so we can graduate
