I just got up to problem set 6, and I'm having trouble installing numpy and pylab. I'm using Python 2.7.3 on Mac OS X Lion, and I'm trying to install newer versions of numpy and pylab (not the ones on opencourseware).

Exactly what issues do you have?

does the installation stop or after installation you can not use the software? do you have administrative rights to install the software? have you tried restoring access priviligies?
