Which pair of reasons correctly completes this proof?
Reason #1 - Pythagorean Theorem Reason #2 - Transitive Property of Equality Reason #1 - Definition of a Right Triangle Reason #2 - Reflexive Property of Equality Reason #1 - Pythagorean Theorem Reason #2 - Reflexive Property of Equality Reason #1 - Definition of a Right Triangle Reason #2 - Transitive Property of Equality
what makes you think i know this dude? i dont even know what transitive property is. i dazed off when i saw that jpg picture
@jim_thompson5910 Help Me Please ?
reason 1 is the pythagorean theorem since the pythagorean theorem states that a^2 + b^2 = c^2 where 'a' and 'b' are legs of a right triangle and 'c' is the hypotenuse
they just used different variables (but it's the same idea)
Oh i thought it was reason 2 i appreciate it !
Sooo Witch One is It A B C OR D ?
no, reason 2 is the transitive property of equality, which basically states that if A = B and B = C, then A = C
hopefully you can see which one it is
Is It C ?
@jim_thompson5910
Ive Got It Thanks @jim_thompson5910
oh sry, i got distracted...lol
my bad
no, choice A
Oh Okay Thanks I Will Ask Another question & Tag im really Struggling on this chapter
