f(x)= 5x ---------------- √x+4 find the domain of the function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

domain means which numbers you are allowed to plug in. since in the denominator we have \[\Large \sqrt{x+4}\] and it should not be negative at any cost so the minimuim value that can be used without making the radical negative or zero is -4 so domain is \[(-4,\infty)\]
