Parth (parthkohli):

Find the next numbers \[\{1,2,2,3,2,4,2,4\cdots \} \]

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

maybe this can help http://oeis.org/A000005

Parth (parthkohli):

Can anyone explain what that site says?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

it is the number of ways of getting each term in the sequence. if you write each term as the product of two numbers.

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

e.g. take the first 4 numbers: 1,2,3,4 1 = 1x1 2 = 1x2, 2x1 3 = 1x3, 3x1 4 = 1x4, 4x1, 2x2

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

which gives you: 1,2,2,3

Parth (parthkohli):

I get it completely! Thank you, sir! @asnaseer

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

yw :)
