-3c + 4 < -6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3c + 4 < -6 -3c < -6 - 4 -3c < -10 c > 10/3 .......... reverse the < because you divided by a negative number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract -4 from both sides so that u can get C alone -3c + 4 - 4 < -6-4 -3c < -10 (divide both sides by -3) -3c/-3 < -10/-3 c < 10/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would't the 3 still e a - or not becuase it move's over

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how is c > then 10/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@thushananth01 , when you divided by -3, you must reverse the < sign We have -3c < -10, -3c / -3 > -10/-3 we reverse because we divided by a negative number c > 10/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah its a mistake sorry @amber517 we get something like this -3c < -10 then u take c to the right side and -10 to the left side, the signs change -3c +3c + 10 < -10 +3c + 10 10 < 3c c> 10/3
